Your name - Call me Grace. Not my real name, but SOOO much prettier
Your age - 13
A little about you - I like big words. xD And politics. Total nerd.
How long have you been roleplaying - 2 and half years?
A sample - The aspiring doctor had only a few glimpses of life outside the hospital, this was one of them, and she spending at a movie theater. Grace wasn’t sure why she wanted to see a film, she had no social drives to make her come here, only the curiosity for what it was about, and she could have found that out online. No, she didn’t particularly care that this was a movie, only the wonder that she had felt so compelled to come here. She didn’t look much different than she did in the hospital, only minus the scrubs. She had the same black high heels, the same print skirt. Her grey cashmere sweater was no different here than any where else, but she was lacking the name tag that printed she was a mere resident, and someone fully educated doctors should watch for.
She sniffed smoke, in a movie theater? Tobacco smoke, almost, she knew the smell from the crowded streets of New York, her first sight of America. Not a good first impression either, she didn’t remember much of Beijing, she was only two when she was sent here, to the United States. The foster care system worked for some, she supposed, but it had not worked for her. One family even had the idiocy to believe she was developmentally delayed, she talked so little. There were periods of her childhood when she was a mute, whole months that she didn’t speak a word. But she was never lonely, she was an abnormal child, yes, but not someone that deserved pity. Or respect, not yet, she was just a nameless resident in a nameless hospital, never mind she was young, accomplishing a feat many could not do when they were thirty.
The black-haired beauty followed the smell of the smoke, and stale popcorn. Her eyes took a moment to adjust to the gloom of the shadows. Her heart thudded. A boy, a child, in the corner, smoking. She despised the cigarette, it ruined lives, she saw so many young people taken from its addictive powers. She had never imagined one so young to smoke, it was completely foreign to her. She let her hand fly to her heart, in a very American gesture, she was used to not showing emotion, but she had to, sometimes. He was so young, and so alone, and so sad. So, so, very sad. She reached out her hand, she wasn’t sure why. Grace didn’t know what to say, as smart as she was, she wasn’t a blarney with words. They didn’t come, the words, but sometimes didn’t actions speak louder?
