Tucked away on the east coast of the United States
is the town of Salem, Massachusettes. Know specifically in
history for its witchcraft trials, Salem has many museums,
cemeteries, and plays performed to remember that time. But,
is there something more to witchcraft? Of course, what would
they do without it?
Take a journey into the very woods where those girls so many
years ago danced and performed voodoo. Up on the tip of the
hill is the old decrepit Salem Castle. It is thought by the towns
people that it was abandoned hundreds of years ago, but witches
from all over the Americas have been flooding there for years
to get the education they need to participate in the wizarding
world. Welcome to the Salem Witches’ Institute, also known as
SWI. These witches have always been pristine and proper with
very few rule breakers. They have been known for their intelligence
and logic. Salem girls are of the highest standard, without any doubt.
Only about one hundred years ago, though, the John Proctor School
for Boys was built only a mile away from SWI. Hoping to achieve
the same standards of behavior and intelligence, hundreds of boys
enrolled at the school. They achieved those standards and kept just
as pristine as the girls.
This generation’s a tad different though. Obsessed with drinking, sex,
and drugs, these boys and girls are very unique from the rest that
have graduated from these schools. They sneak between the schools,
have parties at the clubs, and barely get away with it. The administrators
are extremely upset with what is going on and want to change it. So
they bring in some help from overseas: Dolores Umbridge.
Known for her ‘alternative’ methods of teaching, she is ready to crack
the whip. She may have had her license revoked in England, but
who’s to say she can’t teach in America? Drastic times call for drastic
measures! So with her uncomfortable detentions, unbearable punishments,
and anger management problems, she has arrived at Salem and there’s
no turning back. Who knows? Perhaps she is back and better than ever.
Will she be able to reign in the terror with her ghastly ways,
or will students yet again drive her
Over and Out?
