I would've put this into the Real Life section, but i'm not sure as to whether it would be classed as one. If so, please move this thread there. 
ILPHAS. An oceanic world than stands as the home to many people. The thing is, there people aren’t normal. Humans are a small fraction of the sentient population, with other races walking the planet, elves, doxies, mermaids, dragons, wizards, vampires, werewolves, leshies, so many species mostly found in fairy tales. They all live in harmony, with a few slip ups and arguments along the way. Some of the races have children with those of other races, and whole new creations come about. Fairies with the heightened senses of vampires, werewolves that transform into dragons. Qualities merge together to create wonderful people.
Ilphas is an odd world. It has one large continent, named after the planet. The rest of the world is mostly ocean, with many islands spread across it. The largest of these islands is Crovart. Only a few of the islands are known as much as Ilphas, including Crovart, Thanorth, Nodis, Romrepol and Hatheld. Several other islands are quite large, but not as widely known as the previous islands. Some of these are Andethlow, Charsec, Gobfirand, Halborince, Orthoenix, Phistonthe and Prizkabof.
Many of the latter islands are known only to those that show an interest in what it has. Orthoenix is home to the largest rainforest on the planet, and Halborince houses the last glacier on Ilphas. Many of the features are geographical, but wonders such as the Library of Andethlow, and the huge Charsec Prison.
Transportation is much different on Ilphas then here on Earth. For the most part, people travel by boat. The people know that the ocean is good for more than fish, and take advantage of the fact there is rarely a storm out at sea. Most people own a boat, as it is their equivalent of a car. There are no cars on Ilphas. Not a single one, not for the rich, not for the poor, not the continent, not the for the islands, none. Instead, there are bus routes on the islands which are more than enough for the islanders. On the continent, there are bus routes in addition to trains. Ferries run between the islands and the continent every 20 minutes.
What will happen to you? Who will you befriend? Where will you work? What will you discover? What will you learn? So many questions, and so much time to answer them.
